Prayer Wall

Prayer is such an important part of my life. It is an opportunity to be intimately connected to my Lord and Savior. For me prayer is about opening up my heart before the Lord and seeking His. It is a form of communication that requires speaking and listening. I have grown in my prayer life over the years because I have had some mighty women of God to model for me what a strong prayer life is like.

One of the things I began doing is keeping a prayer wall. It is very easy to do. Just find a wall, a folder, a bulletin board, etc. and begin to write your prayers, names, targets and put them up. Be sure to date them and as the Lord answers the prayers write the date it was answered and post them in a different location. It is a faith builder to see your answered prayers. God is good and He is faithful to hear us. The answer might not come in our time and sometimes the answer is no, but He hears the prayers of His children.

Click on the link below to see pictures of Personal Prayer Walls. The idea is not that you necessarily have a wall, but a space for prayer in your life. As you create your prayer walls/space for prayer, take a picture and tell me a little about them along with your name and send them to me. I will feature them to encourage and inspire others.
