Creating a Space for Prayer
The purpose of this page is to encourage you in your prayer life. We are collecting pictures and information from people about their prayer walls. You don’t have to have a room, or a whole wall. You can use a closet, a notebook or a folder as your “prayer wall.” It is our prayer that the pictures and stories will inspire you to create your own “space” for prayer (be it a wall, notebook or closet).

Twana
Hi my name is Twana and this is my prayer wall. This wall contains the names of the people I pray for; my written prayers; the things I am believing God for and my letters to my Lord and Savior.
Tip: If you are looking for a place to start your own prayer wall, my advice is to get some index cards and write down the names of people/things you are praying for/about. Pray over those cards every day and write down what the Lord is saying. When those prayers are answered, write the date on the card and then file it away.

Raven
Hi, my name is Raven I am 18 years old and this is my prayer wall. It contains bible verses that I am praying over; declarations that I make to myself reminding me of who God says I am and a list of the qualities I am praying for in my future husband.
Tip: When you pray, don’t put on an act or make the prayer seem rehearsed. Just talk to God as you would a friend and tell him the areas of your life that you’re struggling in.

Abbee
Hi my name is Abbee I am 16 years old and this is my prayer wall.

Phylis
My name is Phylis and this is my prayer wall. I begin each morning that God awakens me by thanking Him first. I walk down the stairs to pen up mu curtains to let God come in. His glory shines through like a bright light from the front door, clear to the back. Dancing along the walls and the floors of my house, surrounding and covering me with His grace and mercy. He fills me up and I am humbled as He prepares me to walk into His presence to pray. Some days the light is just a flicker but when I inhale it…it becomes a fire!
Tips: (1) Call out the name of Jesus during your day. (2) Write out your thoughts while talking with God. (3) Get connected with someone who prays.
