Thank You, Jesus

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

April 25, 2019

Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me. I thank you for your blood. You sacrificed it all to save my life. Through the shedding of your blood, you released me from the curse of sin.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are Emmanuel, the only begotten God. You are God with us. You stepped out of eternity into time fully understanding what it would cost you. You became one of us so that we might be with God forever. You absorbed His wrath so that I may have peace with Him.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are the King of Kings. You are the great King, the King of Israel. You are the King of the Jews. You are Master, Prince, Ruler, and Sovereign King. You are the Christ, the king over all kings and rulers. You are my Savior. Thank you, my King, for pouring out your royal blood for me on the cross.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are Lord of Lords. You are my Lord, you are my hope, you are my peace, you are my strong tower, my refuge from the storm. You, Jesus, are Lord over all. You have that title because of who you are. You are the Son of God, the creator of the cosmos. You are the great I AM, the beginning and the end. You are my Lord and you humbled yourself so that you could redeem me through your death. Because of your sacrifice, I can live a resurrected life.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are the Messiah. You are the Christ, Cristos, the Anointed One. You, Christ, have always been. It has been the plan of God since the beginning for you to pay the price for my sins. I am so grateful for the cleansing, redeeming, restoring power of your blood. I thank you for delivering me from the hand of the oppressor.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are my Wonderful Counselor. You are my Advocate. You are my Comforter. You are the Consolation of Israel. You are our Intercessor. You intercede on our behalf before the Father. You see me and are mindful of my needs. You, Jesus, make a way where there is no way.

I thank you, Jesus, that your blood speaks. Your blood heals, your blood brings peace, restoration, and redemption. Jesus your blood washes over me and wipes me clean so that I may approach the throne with boldness.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are my Mediator, my Paraclete. You defend me before the bar of God’s justice. You offer up yourself as payment for my crimes. In you, I am declared righteous.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are the Almighty. You are Mighty God. You are Mighty in Battle. Potentate. You are the Power of God. You, Jesus, are the All-Powerful Lord. Nothing is beyond your reach. Nothing is impossible for you. Because of your sacrifice and the shedding of your blood, I can become an overcomer. I can be victorious because you strengthen me.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are my Everlasting Father. You are the Head of the Creation of God. You are part of the Godhead, the Trinity. You have no beginning and no end. You are the source of time, space and all creation. Everything is made complete in you. When you declared it is finished on the cross, you restored my relationship with the Father, provided my provision, and completely abolished the power of sin over me.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are the Prince of Peace. You give me peace. You are the King of Salem. You have ended the separation between God and man through your death on the cross. You paid the price for my freedom and redemption with your own blood. You have given me new life, and internal peace through the love that you planted in my heart by your spirit.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are my Redeemer. You are my Kinsman. You are the Ransom that was paid for me. You are my Redemption and in you, I am guaranteed victory. My chains are broken.

I thank you, Jesus, that you are the Son of God. You are the only begotten son. You are the Son of the most high. You are the Heir and because of your blood, I have been justified by faith. Your death was the payment that redeemed me from the debt I owed to God’s law. You traded your life for mine. You ransomed me and guaranteed me a place in your family. Not a place in the back, but a place in the front, so that I may be called the daughter of the King. You made me a co-heir with you.

Thank you Jesus for who you are and all that you have done. I love you Lord. In your name I pray, Amen.
