Thank You God for Who You Are

A prayer of thanksgiving

I thank you God that you are Adonai. The Lord, my great lord. You are the Master and Majestic Lord. You are my total authority. 

I thank you God that you are Elohim, the all-powerful One. My creator. You are the all-powerful, all-knowing creator of the universe. You know all, create all, and are everywhere at all times. I thank you God that you never change. 

I thank you God that you are El Roi, the God who sees me. I am so grateful that there is no circumstance in my life that escapes your fatherly awareness and care. Lord you know my every thought. Lord you know me and my troubles. You are my rescuer and redeemer. I thank you that you cover me in the shadow of your wings, I am grateful that I can be strong and courageous in you.

I thank you God that you are El-Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One. You are the God of my mountains and the God of my valleys. You are mighty, you are holy, you are all I ever need. You are the God who provides. You are God Almighty. Thank you God for being the all-sufficient source for all of my blessings. You my Lord are all-powerful and there is nothing that I face, no problem that I have that is too big for you to handle. I thank you that I am more than a conqueror through Christ your son who gave His life for me.

I thank you God that you are Immanuel, God with us, the Great I AM. I thank you God that you never change and that your promises never fail. When I am faithless, you are faithful. When I am lost, you see me found. When I am burdened, you are my burden lifter. You are God of the breakthrough. All things must yield under your command. I trust you Lord and I will obey you. 

I thank you God that you are Jehovah, the great I AM, the One Who Is, Who Was, and Who Is to Come. You God are the Self-Existent One. You give strength to the weary and hope to the hopeless. You have numbered every hair on my head, you have collected all of my tears in your bottle. You are my protector, my best friend and the lover of my soul. 

I thank you God that you are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. You have provided the final cure for spiritual, physical, and emotional sickness in Jesus Christ. He died for my sins, to give me access to you. In Him I am complete, I am made whole. You are the great physician, my healer. Jesus paid for my healing through the stripes he took on His back. His blood heals and restores me.

I thank you God that you are Jehovah-Rohi, the Lord my Shepherd. You are the Lord that leads me beside quiet waters and restores my soul. You protect, provide, direct, lead and care for me. You cover me with your tender mercy and stretch out your arms to me in loving grace. You take care of me as a strong and patient shepherd. 

I thank you God that you are Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the Lord our righteousness. Jesus Christ, your son is the King, son of David who imparts His righteousness to me because I believe. I thank you God that when you look at me, you see me covered in the righteousness of your son Jesus, whose death and resurrection gave me new life. 

I thank you God that you are Yahweh, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are Adonai, you are Abba Father, You are Truth, You are Hope, You are Light. I thank you God that you have made me new in you. That in you, I can live and move and have my being. I thank you God that out of all of the things in this world, you are mindful of me. You are my life God and I thank you for loving me. I love you for who you are. In Jesus name, Amen.
