YOU are Lord

Dear Lord, there are a lot of people hurting today; a lot of people scared today; a lot of people dealing with uncertainty today; a lot of people feeling overwhelmed today. I don’t know what their needs are but YOU do. I don’t know what the answers are but YOU do. Lord I thank you today for your sovereignty. That it is YOU who sits on the throne. I ask that today you remind people that in a world that is fallible, YOU are not. In a world that is full of hurt, YOU are a healer. In a world that is full of things that shake us, YOU are unshakable.

Lord today let us feel YOUR love. Remind us of the hope we have in YOU; the life we have in YOU; the victory we have in YOU, the overcoming spirit we have in YOU. Remind us that we don’t go through this life alone. YOU don’t leave us to figure things out by ourselves. We only need to look to YOU; surrender to YOU as Lord of our lives. YOU are our Savior; but let us remember that YOU are also LORD.

So I ask YOU to meet us in the place of our brokenness; and make us whole again. Meet us in the place of our lack; and provide the provision. Meet us in the place of our uncertainty; and provide strength and direction. Meet us in the place of our busyness and overwhelming day to day life; and provide us with YOUR rest. Lord may we always remember that in the midst of the dark times; the hard times; the confusing time; the uncertain times YOU are the beacon of light from which our hope comes from. YOU are the one who restores us; redeems us and saves us.

Thank YOU Lord for YOUR grace; for YOUR love; for YOUR hope and for YOUR faithfulness. In Jesus name, Amen
