I was looking at social media and taking in what some of the younger generation are posting. It breaks my heart to see how focused they are on the things of this world. How caught up they are in living for themselves and doing whatever feels good? Where does this craziness stop? When do they realize that this life they are living, the one that they are doing whatever they please is only temporary. The feel good feelings do not last long. They create a deeper brokenness on the inside of them. Their focus should be on eternity. We all have one. Who we live for in this life (accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior and living with Him first and foremost in our lives) will determine where we spend eternity.
While people are shouting for the end of days and the return of Christ, we His people better get busy expanding His Kingdom. There is too much work left to be done. Too many lost and hurting people. We need to get a hold of the fire of Christ and then do something to make a difference.
Let’s ask ourselves “How do we allow Him to work in us to expand His Kingdom?”
